Murder Mystery

Welcome to the online Murder Mystery mini story: Who Killed Chris?

As you read this mini-story, you become a member of the police service.

You have access to the phones of several people, all of whom are on your suspect list.  From these pieces of evidence, you must deduce two things: who had the motive to kill Chris, and who had the opportunity?

You should watch each video carefully, examine all pieces of evidence.  Keystroke technology has allowed forensic scientists to be able to display for you everything which has been typed between two people, even that which has been “deleted” or not sent.

They are, however, very slow, and only process one set of text messages per week. Follow the links to the pages on which they’re displayed for your scrutiny, below.

Good luck, detective!

DISCLAIMER: This idea was not mine to begin with. I found a fantastic app called “Last Seen Online” and borrowed the idea for use in my role as a teacher. I have question sheets which go with the videos, designed around the skills needed for AQA English Language and Literature. If you’d like a copy to use in your own school, please get in touch with me (details on the contact page).
