A little about Louise…

Louise Hazeldine was born in England in 1982. She graduated with a 2:1 BA(Hons) English degree, in 2012.

She then gained her PGCE in 2014, and became a teacher, and her Master’s Degree in English in 2023.

Learning to read and write before she went to school at the age of four, Louise has always adored books of most genres. She is never without at least ten titles on her “being read” pile, which increases by the day thanks to the invention of e-books. After a visit to a local college, where she was praised by a lecturer for her skill in a short-story she submitted for marking, Louise began to write stories in high school, developing her skill and understanding of how to manipulate words, to create worlds can for others to read.

As a young lady, Louise continued to write stories in her spare time, dabbling in Fan Fiction; this led to an increase in confidence and wanting to create her own characters. The next, logical, stage was to write her own novels.

After finding herself with time off work through an injury, Louise began writing her first novel halfway through her degree in 2010, calling it Standards and Duty. After much research and crafting, she published it in November 2018. It has since gained excellent reviews from all who have read it, some of which have been posted here.

Louise began writing her second novel, Revolting, in December 2018; it is currently in the last phase of research and planning. She will begin the first draft in August 2019. This is a trilogy and will delve into the socio-political protest genre she so admires. She is also working on a novella, currently called Neglect is an Eight Letter Word that falls under this same genre
